The celebrated photographer Frank Stewart, known for his captivating images and storytelling prowess, will be giving a FREE Masterclass in photography on Saturday February 15 at 2pm at the Conrad Caldwell House Museum in Conrad Hall (entrance on Magnolia Avenue). This special event is being hosted by the St. James Court Art Show.
Frank Stewart is a distinguished African American photographer acclaimed for his evocative images of prominent jazz musicians and documentation of Black Culture. With a career spanning over five decades, Stewart’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and has earned him prestigious awards, including two National Endowment for the Arts Grants.During this Masterclass, Mr. Stewart will share his expertise and techniques, guiding attendees through the art of capturing compelling photographs. Whether you are an experienced photographer or an enthusiastic beginner, you will gain valuable knowledge on composition, lighting, and the creative process behind Stewart’s iconic works.

The St. James Court Art Show is a juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show featuring over 600 artists from around the U.S. held among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes in the heart of historic Old Louisville.
This 4-square block, outdoor art show takes place annually on the first weekend of October, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Six unique sections, one art show. St. James Court, Belgravia Court, Fourth Street, 3rd Street, 1300 Section, West End Baptist Church.
